1947-2018
Edith “Edie” Graham,
71 years of age, of Amherst Shore, passed away peacefully on
Wednesday, November 14, 2018. Born in Amherst, she was a daughter of
Hattie (Gordon) Hubley of Amherst Shore and the late Edward
Hubley.
Edie worked for many years in Ontario where she met her
husband, John. She enjoyed needle work in spare time. Edith enjoyed
traveling, especially to Las Vegas.
Besides her mother, Edie will be sadly missed by her loving
husband, John, brother, Donald Hubley (Carolyn) of Amherst Shore;
sisters, Donna Brown of Tidnish Bridge, Sharon Hagan (Gordie) of Grand
Prairie, AB, Jean Davis (Keith) of Port Howe, NS, Frances Johnston of
Grand Prairie, AB; sister in law, Marilyn Graham of Peterborough, ON,
Jean Graham of Dundas, ON; several nieces and nephews.
Arrangements are under the care and direction
of Furlong-Jones Funeral Home, 70 Church
St., Amherst, N.S. (902-667-8777). No visitation by request. A
memorial service will be held at the Lorneville United Church on
Saturday, November 17, 2018 at 10 a.m. Burial to follow in the
Lorneville United Church Cemetery.
Should friends desire, memorial contributions may be made to
the Heart and Stroke Foundation.
