Matthews, Earl Leroy
Peacefully at the Brantford General Hospital, with his family by his side, on Wednesday, October 17, 2018, days after celebrating his 90th birthday. Earl Matthews, loving father of Kelly Chenell, Tracy (Dave) Blackwell, Joe Matthews. Dear brother of the late Jean Fawcett. Much loved grandfather of Luke (Chantal), Beau, Matthew (April), Devon (Steph), Keaton (Sierra). Earl will be missed by his 4 legged buddy, Tipper and will be missed by all of his friends at Tim Hortons. Earl farmed in the Brantford area all of his life. Special thanks to the Staff at the Brantford General Hospital Emergency and the Palliative Care Unit. Friends will be received at the McCLEISTER FUNERAL HOME, 495 Park Road North, Brantford on Sunday, October 21, 2018 from 2:00 – 4:00 & 7:00 – 9:00 p.m. Funeral service in the Chapel on Monday, October 22, 2018 at 11:00 a.m. Interment at Mt. Hope Cemetery. If wished, memorial donations to the Brant County SPCA or Heart and Stroke Foundation gratefully appreciated.
