OBITUARY
Dwayne Lavern Picketts
March 4, 1952 – September 21, 2018
Peacefully, after a brief illness, Dwayne Lavern Picketts, age 66, passed away at 4:00 pm Sept 21 , 2018 at the Grey Nuns Hospital in Edmonton. He is survived by his father Russell Picketts (Alice), his mother Anne Yaholnitsky, his daughter Deirdre Wolff, sisters Annette Carmichael (Gary) and Colleen Parker (Ken) and and their families of Calgary, brother Brian Picketts (Ann) and family, Edmonton as well as numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews on the Picketts and Wojciechowski side throughout Alberta and BC. Dwayne spent many years in the oil fields construction business throughout Alberta, the Yukon, NWT and and recently worked for Action Hotshot Services, Edmonton. Dwayne was an avid Oiler and Eskimo fan as well as the Toronto Blue Jays and was extremely proud of his Alberta Heritage. He was always ready to debate sports, politics and life in general over a hearty breakfast at Lumberjack’s in the south end.
At Dwayne’s request cremation will take place. A celebration of life will be held at a later date.
