It is with great sadness that the family of the late Douglas Boyd, age 86 years, of Summerford, NL announce his passing at the James Paton Memorial Health Centre, Gander, NL on Monday, November 12, 2018.
He is predeaceased by his parents Lewis & Pearl, wife Jessie, son Terry and brother Llewellyn.
Left with fond and loving memories are his grandsons Lewis (Virginia), Paul (Sakina), great-grandchildren Summer, Jessica, Sarah, Logan & Cayde and a large circle of sibilings and other extended family & friends.
Resting at New World Island Funeral Home, Summerford with public visitation on Friday, November 16, 2018 from 2-4 p.m. then at 7-9 p.m. from the Salvation Army West Corps, Summerford, NL. Funeral service will take place from the church on Saturday, November 17, 2018 at 1:00 p.m. with Major C. Abbott officiating.
