Clerk, Doug Alexander
Volunteer Firefighter with Station 22, Fenelon Falls for 44 years. Doug was an employee and then co-owner of Webster Brothers Wholesale which was then bought by Gorman’s Wholesale and he continued as a salesman until his retirement.
Peacefully at Fenelon Court Long Term Care on Sunday, July 15, 2018. Doug Clerk of Fenelon Falls was in his 92nd year. Beloved husband of the late Isobel Clerk (2012). Loving father of Michael Clerk and his wife Mai and Suzanne Clerk all of Fenelon Falls. Dear uncle of Mary Anne Platten and Katherine (Fred) Elder and their families. Doug will be remembered by his cousin Dale (Elwood) Dunn. Pre-deceased by his parents, Hartland Clerk (1965) and his wife Anna (1932) and step mother, Kathleen (1965). The family of Doug Clerk will receive friends at the JARDINE FUNERAL HOME, CREMATION & TRIBUTE CENTRE, 8 Princes’ St. W., Fenelon Falls, on Saturday, July 21st from 12Noon until the time of the memorial service in chapel at 1:00 p.m. Interment at Fenelon Falls Cemetery. Memorial donations to Immanuel Baptist Church or Fenelon Court Resident’s Council would be appreciated by the family.
