Obituary of Dorothy Egger
Passed away peacefully, surrounded by the love and support of her family, on Monday, April 23, 2018, in her 81st year. Dorothy Grace (Eggleton) married Richard Egger of Canboro, ON on March 10, 1956 and lived on Lane Road in Dunnville where they raised 6 children: Keith (Sandra), Ken (Kathy), Karen (Ryan) Kostenuk, Kathy (Larry) Hazelwood, Roger (Betty), and Ray (Penny). Lovingly remembered by her 18 grandchildren, and 20 great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, and many friends. Predeceased by her parents John and Jenny Eggleton, her sister Marjorie (Ralph) Drake, sister Joyce Locke, brother-in-laws Steve Hutchinson and Glen Moodie, and parents-in-law Ernest and Vivian Egger. Also survived by sister Mary Hutchison, and sister-and-brother-in-laws Beverly (Gordon) DeGram, Shirley Egger, Elaine (John) Williams, Nancy (Don) Bidewell, Ron (Bev) Egger, and Wilfred Locke. Friends will be received for visitation at the Dunnville Memorial Arena, 275 Ramsey Drive, Dunnville on Wednesday, April 25 from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. A funeral service will take place in the Dunnville Memorial Arena on Thursday, April 26, 2018 at 1 p.m. Burial to follow at Melick Cemetery, Canborough. Donations in memory of Dorothy may be made to Dunnville Hospital & Healthcare Foundation.
