Obituary for
Dorothea Elfriede Will (Will)
Will, Dorothea:
Dorothea Will, 58, of Kitchener Ontario on June 9, 2018.
Dorothea passed away after a long struggle with cancer, surrounded by family and friends. Loving daughter of the late Guenter Will, she will be greatly missed by her mother Frieda Will, her sister Dagmar and her brother Siegfried, as well as her sister-in-law Debbie, nephew Theo, niece Anaka, and many relatives and friends throughout Canada and Europe. We will always carry her memory in our hearts. In addition to attending Three Hills Bible Institute, Dorothea furthered her education with a degree in English and Music at Wilfred Laurier University. She continued her involvement with music as choir director and organist at Hope Lutheran and the Bechtel Churches in Kitchener. Dorothea was an avid tennis player and former member of Waterloo Tennis Club. She loved her family, she loved her music, and she loved her God.
As per Dorothea’s wishes, cremation has taken place. Private family interment at Woodland Cemetery. Arrangements entrusted to the Henry Walser Funeral Home, 519-749-8467.
As expressions of sympathy, donations to the Sleeping Children Around the World (www.scaw.org) would be appreciated by the family (cards available at the funeral home).
