Obituary of Donald McChesney
Peacefully on Sunday, September 16, 2018 at his home in London, Donald “Old Cat” McChesney formerly of Kerwood and Strathroy passed away at the age of 93. Loving husband of the late Lorna McChesney (nee Wilkins). Beloved father of Sandra (Richard) Berdan, Janet Cadman, Tom (June) McChesney and Lynn McChesney (Vaughan Scriver). Dear grandfather of David (Jodi), Michelle, Michael (Sonja), Jennifer (Dan), Ryan (Bethany), Meagan (Elvis), Dylon (Leah) and Donald (Kachina). Survived by 11 great grandchildren. Sadly missed by his sister Vivian (the late Jack) Nethercott and sister in law Hazel (the late Bob) McChesney. Predeceased by his brother Roy McChesney. Cremation has taken place. Friends will be received on Wednesday, September 19th at DENNING’S OF STRATHROY 519-245-1023 from 6-8 pm and on Thursday, September 20th from 10:00 am until the time of the memorial service at 11:00 am. Private family interment in West Adelaide Cemetery. As expressions of sympathy memorial donations may be made to The Royal Canadian Legion Poppy Fund or MADD Canada.
