Shiell, Donald William “Don”
Passed away peacefully at Innisfree House on Wednesday, October 24, 2018 at the age of 84. Beloved husband of Margaret (nee Greeniaus) for over 51 years. Loving father of Eric (Linda Wilson) and Brenda Shiell (Joe Korenic). Dear brother of Jack Shiell (June). Don will be missed by his nieces Sarah Takach, Laura Earley, Linda Dougherty and Laurie Shiell and nephews Mike Shiell, Todd Dougherty and Dave Dougherty. Predeceased by sister Susanne Dougherty (Dick). Don was a real estate broker with Coldwell Banker Peter Benninger Realty and a member of the Historical Construction Equipment Association. Visitation at the Henry Walser Funeral Home, 507 Frederick St., Kitchener, (519) 749-8467, from 2:00 – 4:00 p.m. and 7:00 – 9:00 p.m. on Friday, November 9, 2018 and from 10:00 a.m. – 10:45 a.m. on Saturday, November 10, 2018, followed by a memorial service in the chapel at 11:00 a.m. Reception to follow. Private burial at a later date at Springcreek Cemetery in Mississauga. As expressions of sympathy, donations to Lisaard House, Innisfree House or the Canadian Cancer Society would be appreciated (cards available at the funeral home).
