OBITUARY
Donald MacDonald
15 June , 1939 – 9 September , 2018
It is with great sadness we announce that Donald MacDonald passed away peacefully with his family at his bedside on Sunday, September 9, 2018 at the age of 79.
Don was predeceased by his beloved wife of 54 years, Greta Anne; he is survived by his sons Lance (Deneen) and Allan; daughter Donna (Don); grandchildren Grada (Andy), Kent (Lena) Amanda (David), and Quinn; great-grandchildren Isabelle, Klara, Mila, and William, as well as his siblings and extended family in the Maritimes.
Don was a loving husband, father, grandfather, uncle, brother and friend. Don always had a story to tell, and he loved to share them with the people he met. “Pa” was friendly, generous and always wore a smile.
He was devoted to his family, friends and will be dearly missed.
A private service is to take place. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in the memory of Donald MacDonald to the West Coast General Hospital Foundation. Memories and condolences can be shared with the family at www.chapelofmemories.ca.
