SUTHERLAND, Donald Bertram Emerson “Don” – It is with heavy hearts, the family of Don Sutherland announce his passing at the Kingston General Hospital on Thursday, July 19th, 2018. Don Sutherland of Belleville was 84. Son of the late William and Pearl Sutherland (nee Loney). Pre-deceased by his beloved wife Greta Sutherland (nee Calbury). Loving father and best friend to Donald Sutherland of Belleville. Ever remembered by his sister Mary Hull (late Douglas) of Belleville. Pre-deceased by sister Muriel Meeks (late Douglas). He will be lovingly missed by many nieces and nephews. Don will always be remembered as a great husband, great friend, neighbour, devoted family man and die-hard Toronto Maple Leafs and Blue Jays fan. Friends are invited to call at the John R. Bush Funeral Home, 80 Highland Ave., Belleville (613-968-5588) on Monday, July 23rd from 2-4 & 7-9p.m. Funeral service will be held in the chapel on Tuesday, July 24th, 2018 at 11:00a.m. Interment to follow at Belleville Cemetery. If desired, donations to the Heart and Stroke Foundation or Canadian Cancer Society would be greatly appreciated by the family.
