Obituary of Dominic Pipoli
Peacefully passed away at the FJ Davey Home on Tuesday, December 4, 2018 with his wife at his side. Beloved husband of Isobel for 72 years. Loving father of Jean Boyle (Joe), Irene Radtke (Ben), Toni Rylatt (Raymond), Isobel Black (late Joe) and Nicki Breuer (Ralph). Cherished grandfather of Nicholas, Christopher (Ann), Geoffrey (Judy), Ryan, Yvonne (Lars), Steve (Meghan) and Liz. Great grandfather of Riley, Korey, Matteus, Megan, Erika, Reese and Miller. Predeceased by his parents Gaspero and Isobel and brother Max (June) and sisters Lena (late Maurice) and Anna (late Martin). Dear brother of Florence (late Bill), Geneva (Fred) and Douglas (late Ada). Also survived by many nieces and nephews. Dominic built and operated Camp Millwood on the ACR line. In his 30’s he fulfilled a lifetime dream of becoming a Pilot. He owned and operated Flying Training Service at the Sault Ste. Marie Airport as well and Man Air Service in Manitouwadge, Batchawana Bay Air Service along with Buckeye Resort in Batchawana Bay. Dominic was in his element when he was fishing, hunting and trapping. He passed on his passion of flying to his daughters. Family and friends are invited to visit at Northwood Funeral Home Cremation and Reception Centre (942 Great Northern Road, 705-945-7758) on Tuesday, December 11, 2018 from 11:00 a.m. until time of the service in the chapel at 1:00 p.m. with Mrs. Helen Smith officiating. Interment at New Greenwood Cemetery. Memorial donations to the Royal Canadian Legion Branch 25, Canadian Bushplane Heritage Centre or Breaking Away would be appreciated by the family.
