Dolores J. Oram
1930-2018
It is with heavy hearts, we announce the passing of
Dolores Julia Oram (Wedge), wife of the late Gordon Oram, which
occurred peacefully at Kings Way Care Centre on Saturday, April 21,
2018.
Dolores was born on August 11, 1930 in Saint John, NB, she
was a daughter of the late Arthur and Dorothy Wedge.
She was a Guide Leader and Commisioner for the Girl
Guides of Canada for many years. She enjoyed
knitting, and spending time with her family and
grandchildren.
Dolores will be missed by her sons; Lawrence (Jeanne) of
Sus, NB, John (Ann-Marie) of Hammond River, Phillip (Janice) of
Nauwigewauk and her two daughters; Diane McKay of Rothesay and Debbie
(Gary) Griffiths of Moncton, NB.
Dolores was predeceased by her brother John, two
sisters; Gloria and Bertha, and infant daughter, Dottie. Dolores was
the last remaining member of her immediate family.
The family wishes to thank the staff at Kings Way for the
excellent care and compassion shown to Dolores.
At Dolores’ request there will be no visitation. Funeral
Service will be held at Kennebecasis Community Funeral Home
Chapel, 152 Pettingill Road, Quispamsis (849-2119) on Saturday, April
28, 2018 at 11AM. Interment to take place at Cedar Hill Extension
Cemetery at a later date. In lieu of flowers, donations in
memory of Dolores may be made to Kings Way Care Centre.
