In Loving Memory of
Our amazing wife, mother, sister, grandma, auntie and friend Dianne Gibson passed away peacefully on Wednesday, November 7, 2018 at the age of 73 years. After a long and hard fought battle with failing health,
Dianne is reunited with her son Brent; mother Appolonia; and father Fred.
Left to cherish Dianne’s memory is her husband of 54 years, Brian W. Gibson; daughters Brenda Bonyai (Dean) and Cheryl Grant (John); and sisters Shirley Tanouye and Carol Tanouye (Al David). “Grandma Gibby” will be lovingly remembered by her five granddaughters, Emma Gibson, Katie, Ella, and Miya Grant and Ava Bonyai; Lisa Jane Armstrong; and nieces Dianne Maddrell (Nathan), Diana Dillman (Joe), Shirley Wilkinson (Alex); and great nephews and nieces Joshua and Jordan Dillman, Haley and Matthew Wilkinson; and many other family and friends will miss her dearly.
Dianne will be forever remembered for her love of family and friends, and her faith in God. Dianne was happiest when surrounded by the ones she loved and was grateful for the life she was given. Spending time with family and friends gave Dianne great joy and all who knew her are blessed with countless memories of her kind and generous nature, her smile and her laughter. We will never forget how much she loved going to the Fieldhouse, entertaining family and friends, playing cards, watching her grandkids in the pool, and having a glass of wine … with plenty of ice.
Jesus said, “I am the resurrection and the life. The one who believes in me will live, even though they die, and whoever lives by believing in me will never die.”
A FUNERAL MASS will be celebrated at Holy Rosary Cathedral, 2104 Garnet Street, Regina, SK on Wednesday, November 14, 2018 at 1:00 p.m.
In lieu of flowers, donations to the Heart and Stroke Foundation of Saskatchewan, 1738 Quebec Avenue, Unit 26, Saskatoon, SK S7K 1V9 or a charity of your choice are appreciated.
The family wishes to extend special thanks to the staff at the Wascana Rehabilitation Centre and all those in health care who showed compassion and kindness in caring for Dianne over the years.

Brian, Brenda and Cheryl: my heart is broken over Dianne’s passing. Our 60-year friendship has provided me with many wonderful memories. The privilege of being asked to be her maid of honor the greatest og all.. She fought a long and hard battle and is finally resting in the arms of our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. I offer you my sincere condolence and prayers for peace and comfort.
