Denise Unger-Fortin
January 7, 1941 – December 15, 2018
Softly passed away on Saturday, December 15, 2018 in Victoria, British Columbia. Long-time resident of Ottawa. Born in Ottawa, January 7, 1941. She will be acutely missed by her daughters, Mary Elizabeth and Anne Yvette and by Yves Fortin, husband. She will be fondly remembered by many cousins and friends. She was blessed with faith in Jesus, an inclination for all things of beauty, and a warm, vivacious personality. A Funeral Mass will be held on Saint Patrick`s Basilica, 220 Kent Street, Ottawa on Saturday, December 29, 2018 at 10 am.

  1. Dear Family–so sorry to learn about Denise’s passing.
    We met a few times–while visiting Ottawa with dad (Edwin
    Gregory) and staying with Grandma (Gertrude Gregory). I also fondly
    remember Aunt Betty.

    Regrets that I am unable to attend the service. Will be there
    in spirit.

    Deeply sorry to hear about Denise’s passing. We had not seen your family for many years but the memories linger on especially at this difficult time. Mom notified me when she heard and I felt the need to reach out to you and the girls as Denise was my God Mother. Please except our deepest condolences. The Bonds
