Loving husband and best friend of Shirley Buggie for 45 years, Denis, who was 85, passed away peacefully surrounded by the ones he loved on December 18, 2018.
He leaves behind his sons, Jerold (Robin), Dany, and Greg; his daughter, Dana (Frank); his Sister, Eugenia Haba, Three grandchildren; Emma, Sydney, and Liam, countless nieces and nephews, and many close friends.
Denis was born in Ukraine; however, he spent the last 40 years with his wife living in Châteauguay. He was famous for taking his annual fishing trip up north with his sons (and anyone else willing to take the adventure). A historian at heart, his life was indeed an adventure and all who knew him will sadly miss his wisdom, knowledge, and most of all his stories.
The family would like to thank everyone that came out to visit and to express their sincere gratitude to the Nurses and Doctors of Anna-Laberge Hospital. We thank God for the gift of his life and the blessing of the time we spent with him at home.
