Very sad to hear of Delbert’s passing. I am proud to have worked with Seven Generations led by Delbert and Rainy River District School Board led by Warren Hoshizaki, in forging new partnerships between public and aboriginal education institutions which laid the groundwork for many other such partnerships around the province. Delbert and Laura were beacons showing many of us the pathway to aboriginal student success.
I will never forget you my friend… Especially the vicious hip check you laid on me in our “friendly” annual hockey game.
Very sad to hear of Delbert’s passing . We are relatively new friends to Delbert and Laura , but we instantly became friends . They welcomed us into their life and their home.. Very happy to have meet this wonderful man.. Our very Best Laura. Arizona family, Linda and Steve
