Obituary of Dawn Holdinga
Peacefully surrounded by the love of her family, at the Chapman House Hospice in Owen Sound, on Tuesday morning, November 20th, 2018. Dawn Marie Holdinga (nee Dusenbery), of Owen Sound, at the age of 75 years. Dearly loved wife of the late Fred Holdinga (2003). Loving stepmother of Ron Holdinga (Janice), of Edmonton, Arlene Tanashi (Madi), of London and Terri Wood (Ross), of Thornbury. Proud Oma of Ryan, Brad, Ahmed, Scott and Bealal. Dear sister of Wayne Dusenbery (Louise), of New York. Predeceased by her parents, Ernest and Ruth Dusenbery. Dawn’s desire was for each of us to think of her fondly, share a smile and “pay it forward” (by spending quality time with a loved one or showing kindness to someone in need).

WOOD FUNERAL HOME, 250 – 14th Street West, Owen Sound, Ontario N4K 3X8 (519-376-7492) on Thursday evening from 7:00 – 9:00 p.m. A Funeral Service for Dawn Holdinga will be held in the Funeral Home Chapel on Friday, November 23rd, 2018 at 10:30 a.m. with Rev. Nicholas Forrester officiating. Interment in Mount Pleasant Cemetery, Georgian Bluffs. If so desired, the family would appreciate donations to the Chapman House Hospice or Central Westside United Church as an expression of sympathy.
