At the Chatham-Kent Health Alliance on Saturday September 15th, 2018, Dawn Ann Mears of Chatham in her 73rd year. Cherished daughter of the late William and Mayabelle Mears. Loving mother of Will Mears and his wife Cheryl of Windsor, James and his husband Ryan Lapeer of Windsor, Marie Mears, Chris Mears, and Sara Mears, all of Chatham. She will be lovingly remembered by her grandchildren Chantelle, Ashley, Alissa, Austin, Kirsten, Mathew and Dakota, and her great grandchildren Kodi and Kayden. Dear sister of Richard Mears, and predeceased by her brother John Mears, and sister Lynn Mears. Dawn Ann was a Past Noble Grand of the Rebecca Lodge of Tillonsburg. Family and friends are invited to the Alexander & Houle Funeral Home, 245 Wellington West, Chatham, 519-352-2710 on Wednesday September 19th with visiting from 2 to 4 p.m. and 7 to 9 p.m. The funeral service will be conducted from the chapel of the funeral home on Thursday September 20th at 2 p.m. with Pastor Greg Simpson officiating. Cremation to follow with interment to take place at a later date. Friends planning an expression of remembrance are asked to consider Special Olympics or towards the needs of her grandchildren. Visitation: Wednesday September 19th with visiting from 2 to 4 p.m. and 7 to 9 p.m.
Funeral Service: Thursday September 20th at 2 p.m.
