David John Carstairs
On December 8, 2018 David John Carstairs of Ardrossan, AB passed away at the age of 66.
He is survived by his loving wife, Linda; two daughters, Cheryl Romaniuk (Darryl) of Tofield, AB, and Pamela Dawson (Mark) of Ardrossan, AB; and three precious grandchildren, Violet, Chloe and Hunter; as well as two brothers, Jim (Mary) and Allen (Debbie); one sister, Shirley Karpyshyn(Tony); and numerous nephews and nieces.
David was predeceased by his parents, Andrew and Helen; sister, Irene Gache; brother in-law, Alec; and sister in-law, Shirley Carstairs.
David loved life and lived it to the fullest enjoying all four seasons. He enjoyed ice fishing, camping and huge camp fires, boating and fishing, hunting and holidays in Mexico. He loved spoiling his precious grandchildren and will be missed by all who knew him.
A Celebration of David’s life will be held at the Cherhill Community Hall (302, 56102 Range Road 53, Railway Ave, Cherhill, AB) on Friday, December 14, 2018 at 11:00 am.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Cherhill Community Association or Cherhill Legion Branch 184 or Captain Poulson Cemetery.
