Obituary of Darren Hatchard
Hatchard, Darren Keith 49 passed away peacefully at the Annapolis Community Health Centre surrounded by family, after a long battle with Huntington’s Disease. Besides his parents Keith and Gail Hatchard he is survived by his wife Tina (Vidito) Hatchard, sons: Tyler and Tristan Hatchard and daughter Kierstan Hatchard of Lequille; sister Cindi (Parker) Pepper, niece Indya of Barrie, Ont., and brother Tim ( Kimberly) Hatchard , nephews Owen and Alex of Sambro, N.S. He is also survived by his father and mother-in-law Ernest and Loretta Vidito of Youngs Cove, brothers-in-law Andy
( Shelly),niece Loryn Vidito, Trevor Vidito of Youngs Cove; many cherished aunts, uncles and cousins as well as his birth father David Francis of Hantsport, brother Aaron (Denise) Francis, nephews Aiden , Parker Francis of Kingston; half sisters Sherry ( Rick), Geraldene and Cindy, half brother Mark Francis and Troy.
He was predeceased by a niece Kaitlyn Hatchard of Sambro. After a brief career as a carpenter Darren found his true calling as a mate on scallop draggers in the Bay of Fundy. Spending the longest time on the Daughters Three with Captain Danny Hudson. Darren loved it on the water.
Funeral service will be held 10:00 a.m. Thursday from the Kaulbach Family Funeral Home, Annapolis Royal with Rev. Juanita Barteaux officiating. A reception will follow in the Annapolis Royal Fire Hall.
