Obituary of Dan Kerr
KERR, Dan Monro peacefully with family by his side at his residence Thursday December 27, 2018. Dan Kerr of Wiarton in his 75th year. Beloved husband of Terry Kerr (nee Klinko) for 29 years. Cherished father of Rob of California, Katie Kerr and her partner Claudio of California and step-father of TJ Edelkoort and his wife Mercedes of Mississauga and Kathy Nelson and her husband Tim of Oakville. Loving grandfather of Meilani, Erika and Jack. Dear brother of Debbie Kloida of Exeter and Donna Schultz (Rick) of Waterloo. Predeceased by parents Marie (nee Leis) and Douglas Kerr and daughter-in-law Jacquie Kerr. Dan was greatly involved in the Wiarton community, being part of the Rotary Club, Town Council and lead instructor at the Tennis Club as well as being on the Radio. Friends and family are invited to a Celebration of Life on Saturday December 29, 2019 at The Meeting Place, 575 Edward Street, Wiarton from 2:00 to 4:00 p.m. with sharing of memories at 2:30 p.m. Arrangements entrusted to the DOWNS AND SON FUNERAL HOME, Hepworth. Expressions of remembrance to the Owen Sound Hospital MRI Campaign or the Grey Bruce Community Foundation would be appreciated. Messages of condolence are welcome at www.downsandsonfuneralhome.com
