Peacefully at Willett Hospital, Paris on Monday, November 5, 2018 at the age of 98. Beloved daughter of William and Rose McGillivray. Predeceased by her first husband Rudy Baccuchi (1952) and second husband Iain MacAskill (1984). Loving mother of Rudy Baccuchi and grandmother of Mary Gombas. Daisy is predeceased by her siblings William, Evelyn, Violet and Rose. Cherished aunt of Jo (Mike) Wilson, Steve (Lis) Emerson and George Robinson. She will be dearly missed by her great nephews Jay and Shawn (Lisa) and great-great nieces Milena and Serena. Special thank you to Paul McIntyre and the staff at Willett Hospital for their care and compassion. As per Daisy’s wishes, visitation at SMITH’S FUNERAL HOME, 485 Brant Street (one block North of City Hall), BURLINGTON (905-632-3333), on Thursday from 5-8p.m. Funeral Service will be held in the funeral home chapel on Friday, November 9th at 1p.m. Cremation to follow. Those wishing to make a donation in memory of Daisy are asked to please consider Willet Hospital, Paris, Ontario.
