CAMERON, Colleen Leslie (NEE Turner)
September 17’th, 1932 – December 14th, 2018
Passed away peacefully in her 87th year, at Peel Manor Nursing Home in Brampton, Ontario. Colleen has gone to celebrate Christmas with her late husband of fifty years, John Maxwell (Bud) Cameron in the great dance hall in the sky.
Colleen will be greatly missed by her children Helen Cheryl Cameron (financé Stephen Smith) of Lindsay,ON and David Allan Cameron (Jeff Kemp) of Guelph, ON. Colleen was an elementary school teacher and her many pastimes included music, arts and crafts, bowling, dogs, the cottage, church and volunteer work. She loved the company of her many close friends, including Dian Haggan (Orangeville), Marilyn McArthur (Norwood) and Margo Thompson (Brampton).
Friends and family will be received at the Ward Funeral Home, (52 Main Street South, Brampton) on Friday, December 21, 2018 from 3:00p.m. to 7:00p.m. Cremation has taken place. A Celebration of Life for Colleen will be held on Saturday, December 22, 2018 at 11:00 a.m. at St. Bartholomew’s United Church, (22 Abbey Road, Brampton) with visitation one hour prior the service and a reception in the church hall to follow immediately after the Celebration of Life.
The family wishes to thank the amazing staff at Peel Manor Long Term Care Centre for their kindness and compassionate care of our mom. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Canadian Cancer Society (Breast Cancer) of Peel or Peel Manor Volunteer Auxiliary.
Rest in Peace forever. We will always love and remember you.
