Obituary of Colin Marshall
MARSHALL, Colin Robert
Passed away on Wednesday February 28, 2018 at Milton District Hospital. Colin was born in Milton and dairy farmed on the 5th Line south of Milton, until 1987 when the farming operation was moved to Stratford. He proudly farmed until the age of 74, finally retiring in Milton to be close to family. In 2010 he suffered a major stroke and became a long term resident of Allendale. During Colin’s life he was involved in many farm organizations and was a member of both Omagh and Shakespeare Presbyterian Churches. Colin is survived by his wife Marion, daughters Karen Powell (Larry), Eileen VanderDeen (Dick), Beth Snoj, Laura Al-Joundi (Sak), Susan Barber (Mark) and son Paul Marshall (Angie). He is also survived by 12 grandchildren, Robert, Jeffrey, Lisa, Paula, India, Connor, Olivia, Matthew, Kirsten, Tiama, and Mathias and 2 great grandchildren, Kory and Shane. The family would like to thank the staff of Allendale for all of their care and support over the years, as well as Milton District Hospital for the final days of care. The family will receive visitors at J. SCOTT EARLY FUNERAL HOME, 21 James St., Milton (905) 878-2669 on Sunday, March 4, 2018 from 2 – 4 p.m. A funeral service will take place on Monday at 11 a.m. from the funeral home chapel. Interment, Omagh Presbyterian Church Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Omagh Presbyterian Church or The Willow Foundation (Allendale).
