Obituary for
Claude Caron
After over 2 strong and courageous years of fighting multiple cancers, it is with great sadness that we announce Claude’s passing at the Timmins and District Hospital Hospice on Wednesday December 19, 2018 at the age of 46 years. Beloved son of Jean Paul and Yvette Caron, loving brother of Diane Bélanger (Rhéal), Denise Scott (Allister Snow), Suzanne Caron (Peter Miles), Jeannine Morin (Luc) and Daniel Caron and dear uncle to many nieces, nephews (yes there was a favorite), great-nieces and great- nephews. He will also be missed by his two cats, Pixie and Layla who were by his side throughout his illness. Claude was born in Timmins and worked for the Conseil Scolaire Catholique du district des Grandes Rivières until cancer forced him to take early retirement.
The family would like to sincerely thank Dr. Karen Armstrong and Marnie Chisholm, and Liz Feldman, for the exceptional care and the many home visits. Not to be forgotten are his Care Partners workers as well as the oncology nurses and the hospice nurses at TDH. He thought the world of all of you.
Funeral service will be held at Lessard-Stephens Funeral Home chape at 11am on Saturday December 22, 2018. Remembrance donations to the Timmins and District Hospital (Hospice Centre) would be greatly appreciated. The family will receive friends on Friday December 21, 2018 from 7-9 pm at the LESSARD-STEPHENS FUNERAL HOME. Online condolences or donations can be made at www.lessardstephens.com
