It is with sadness that we announce the passing of Cairne Raymond Church at the Leduc Community Hospital at the age of 73 years.
Cairne will be lovingly remembered by his daughter Bonni (Terrill) Crawford; son Patrick (Jenn); grandchildren, Hailee, Cody, Curtis and Brooklyn; brother Allan (Etta); sister Kathleen; as well as many nieces, nephews, relatives and close friends.
Cairne was predeceased by his parents Pearl and Seacome Church; sister Laura; brothers Mervin and Elmer.
Churchie as he was known to many was a generous man. He started his career in the oil industry at age 21. He loved the rigs and he was good at what he did.
He was a good father, a loving grandfather and a favorite uncle to many, he was also a good friend and if he could help you out, he would.
We will miss you dearly Dad, you will always be in our hearts. Cheers to you in Heaven!
A Memorial Service will be held on Friday, December 14, 2018 at 10:00 am at Royal Canadian Legion Leduc Branch 108 (5014 49 St, Leduc, AB). Folks that are attending the Service are asked to join the family in wearing your favorite team jersey.
In lieu of flowers those who wish, may donate to the Cross Cancer Institute of Alberta.
