Christopher Lloyd Hubley

Christopher Lloyd Hubley age 57 passed away peacefully at home on December 23, 2017 from diabetes complications. Cremation has taken place.
Chris was born December 12, 1960. He was raised in Clementsvale. Chris spent his time with cousins and neighborhood friends, fishing, exploring the woods around his home, playing ball, building snow forts and watching scary movies. He had a very strong connection with his paternal grandparents Emma and Ernest Hubley. As a young man, he joined the military. After a short time, he was diagnosed Diabetes and had to leave the military. Chris suffered with this disease for much of his life and did what he could, picking up jobs when he was able to do so. Chris had a passion for people, photography and putting together plastic models. His extensive collection has been donated to the Aviation Museum in Greenwood. Chris loved people and always had a big smile for anyone he met. He lived his life showing respect and tenderness toward others. He will be missed by his family and his friends many of which he considered family. Chris is survived by his mother, Mary Hubley, who resides at Mountain Lea Lodge. He was predeceased by his father, Lloyd Hubley (1990) and a baby brother, Clyde William who died at birth (1957). A funeral service will be held at the Kingston Legion, 1472 Veterans Lane, Kingston on Monday, January 15th at 11:00 am. Private Family Interment will be at Clementsvale Cemetery at a later date. In lieu of flowers donations can be made to the Diabetes Canada in memory of Chris. Arrangements have been entrusted to Middleton Funeral Home, 398 Main St., 902-825-3448.
