Obituary for
Christine Ranich (Wetow)
RANICH, Christine “Tena” (nee Wetow)
It is with great sorrow that the family of Christine “Tena” Ranich announces her peacefully passing on Tuesday, November 13th, 2018 at St. Joseph’s Villa with her husband of 68 years Stephen holding her hand. Most important to her was her family who surrounded her in her final days and was at her side until her soul left us. Loving mother of William (Bonnie), Patricia predeceased, Daniel (Elizabeth), Steven (Miriam) and Christine (Carl Hurst). Doting grandmother to Jake (Zorisa), Amber (Mike), Caitlin (Neil), Ryan, Ashton, Brittany (Taylor), Mercedes (Evan), Richard and Meredith. Predeceased by her parents Anthony and Pauline Wetow (nee Sikora), brother William, and her parents-in-law Andrew and Julia Ranich. She will be sadly missed her sisters in law, brothers in law, nieces, nephews of the Miatello, Lukie and Wetow families.
The family would like to thank the staff of St. Joseph’s Villa for their compassionate care. In accordance with her wishes, cremation has taken place and there will be no visitation or service. A family celebration of life and interment alongside her baby Patricia in the Lasalle Roman Catholic Cemetery will take place at a later date. In Christine’s memory if you wish, you may make a donation to a charity of your choice. Arrangements entrusted to the Lougheed Funeral Home.
