Charles “Chuck” Theodore Rogers
1950-2018
Rogers – The death
occurred peacefully, at the Prince County Hospital, Summerside, on
Monday, April 2, 2018, of Charles “Chuck” Rogers, of
Summerside and formerly of Borden-Carleton, aged 67 years. Born in
Summerside, he was the son of the late Haviland and Doris (McGaughey)
Rogers. Survived by his wife Velma (Palmer) Rogers; daughter Candice;
his canine companion Millie; brothers and sisters Lowell (Anna),
Darlene (Art) MacDonald, Lynn (Edwin) Hughes, Lorraine (Dennis)
Lowther, Leonard (Janet), Alanna (Jack) Wilkins, Verna, Allison
(Jennifer), Paul (Carrie), Danny and Leanne; parents-in-law Charles
(Erma) Palmer; brother-in-law Stephen (Soraya) Palmer; sister-in-law
Nora Rogers; and by numerous nieces and nephews. Predeceased by his
brothers James and Alan; and by a sister-in-law Coleen
Rogers.
Resting at the Moase Funeral Home, Summerside. No visiting
hours or funeral service as per Chucks’
request.
Following cremation, the family fulfilling every request
which he had and planned prior to his illness and death, will be
taking him home to be with his wife and daughter. Chuck had a very
large network of car buddies, friends, family and co-workers at Vector
Aerospace who will all dearly miss him. We will remember Chuck as the
guy who had the unique ability to make everyone feel special and who
loved his Chevys!
Memorial donations to the Palliative Care Unit of the Prince
County Hospital or the Heart and Stroke Foundation would be
appreciated.
