Obituary for Cathy Good
Passed away peacefully surrounded by love on December 15, 2018 at Willowgrove Long Term Care in Ancaster at the age of 69. Cathy is reunited with her loving parents James and Dorothy Good, and uncle “Charlie” Good. Cherished sister to Claire (Terry), and Peter (Judi). Lovingly remembered by her nieces and nephews Todd (Ellie), Greg (Sandi), Craig (Kelly), Jason (Hilda), Kimberley (James), Jennifer (Brad), Erin (Steve); and all of her great nieces and nephews. Cathy was retired from the City of Hamilton, where she started off in the mail room and worked on the old switchboard before becoming a licensing inspector. She worked with a great group of friends at the city and will be sadly missed. Cathy was awarded an honorary lifetime member with the Municipal Law Enforcement Officers Association (MLEOA) for her many years of service. She also enjoyed her euchre club and weekly coffee klatsch. Cathy was always up for a good time and a good laugh, and will be sadly missed by her many friends, including her best friends Joanne and Doug (Wendy), who were always there for her. Sincere gratitude to the staff, nurses, PSWs, doctors and dietician at Willowgrove in providing the utmost care for Cathy throughout her illness. Cremation has taken place. Family and friends are invited to celebrate Cathy’s life on January 3rd, 2019 at 2pm at the Brown Barrel Eatery (1515 Upper Ottawa St, Hamilton, ON L8W 3J4). For those who wish, donations may be made to the Alzheimer Society of Ontario, MS Society of Hamilton.
