Funeral Service will be held at the Christian Reformed Church, 50 Fittons Rd W, Orillia, on Wednesday November 21, 2018 at 11 am.

Schop; Catherine “Cathie” Anne (nee Hamelin)-
Passed away peacefully after courageous 14 year battle with cancer at the Soldier’s Memorial Hospital, Orillia on November 15, 2018 at the age of 67. Cathie, beloved wife of John . Loving mother of Jenneke Schop-Barrett (Chris) and Vanessa Davis (Neville). proud grandmother of Alexis Schop-Hicks, Dominic Barrett and Marley Davis. Loved daughter of Joyce and the late Mark “Mick” Hamelin. Dear sister of Karen Hamelin, Grace Kidd (Rob), Lorraine De Carli, Paul Hamelin (Brenda), Mary Moreau, Mark Hamelin (Donna), Laura Morris (Grant), Peter Hamelin and Margaret Hamelin. Fondly remembered by many nieces, nephews and cousins. Sadly missed by best friend Charlotte Rice. Special thank you to Dr. David C Collins, Orillia Soldiers’ Memorial Hospital Staff, Royal Victoria Hospital Oncology Dept. Staff, Bayshore Home Health PSWs and Nurses and the North Simcoe Muskoka Palliative Care Network for all of their compassionate care. Visitation will be held at the Mundell Funeral Home, 79 West St. N., Orillia on Tuesday November 20, 2018 from 7 PM – 9 PM. Funeral Service will be held at the Christian Reformed Church, 50 Fittons Rd W, Orillia, on Wednesday November 21, 2018 at 11 am. Cremation to follow. If desired, Memorial Donations to the Gilda’s Club or Hospice Simcoe would be appreciated.Messages of condolence are welcomed at www.mundellfuneralhome.com.
