Carry Mona’s Obituary
Carry Mona passed away in the early hours of Saturday, November 17th, 2018, at 94 years of age. She was residing at StoneBrook assisted living in Grimashaw (AB), but she was a long time member of the community of Berwyn (AB).
Mona lived life to the best of her ability. She gardened, traveled, raised her family, held a clothing store in her younger years and supported her community.
She is pre-deceased by her husband John Stewart; her parents Hagar (nee Nemlander) & Tylo Castberg.
Carry Mona is survived by her children John (Colleen) of Berwyn (AB), Larry of Surrey (BC), Cindy (Lyle) Dietz of Galahad (AB); and, her 4 grandchildren.
Following cremation, a Private Family Scattering Ceremony will take place.
If friends so desire, donations may be made to any Royal Canadian Legion of one’s choice.
