Obituary of Caroline Antonyk
ANTONYK, Caroline Elizabeth
(née Reynolds)
Caroline passed away suddenly on Wednesday, November 14, 2018 at the age of 75. She was predeceased by her husband John (1978); father Roy “Rusty” Reynolds (1997); and nephew Todd (1976). Left to mourn is her son Trevor (Patricia); daughter Trellis; grandson Walker (Lucy); granddaughter Cassidy (Tyler); great-granddaughters, Astrid and Kayleigh; mother Anne Reynolds; brother Lyle Reynolds (Myrna); sister Debbie Hillier (Lloyd); as well as numerous nieces, nephews, and friends. Mom started her banking career with the Bank of Montreal in Punnichy, right after high school. After a year, she moved to Regina to work at the Bank of Montreal. Mom and dad were married in 1965. After being a stay-at-home mom for a few years, she started her career with CIBC and stayed with CIBC, until her final retirement. Mom was an avid sports fan and loved watching her favourite teams, the Edmonton Eskimos, the New York Yankees, and the Philadelphia Flyers. She loved her time spent with Granny, whether it was watching sports, playing crib, or just visiting. Mom had an amazing and pure singing voice and a great love of music, from polka to getting busted listening to ACDC at loud volumes, with Neil Diamond being her favourite. Mom was a strong and tough lady and like Frank Sinatra, she did it her way. A Come and Go Celebration of Mom’s Life will be held at the Italian Club, 2148 Connaught Street, Regina, SK on Tuesday, December 4, 2018 from 1:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. Interment at Punnichy will be held at a later date. Flowers gratefully declined. Those so wishing may make donations, in memoriam, to a charity of your choice
