Carol Dorothea Hawkins
It is with great sadness that we announce the peaceful passing of our mother, Carol, on January 5, 2018 at Grace General Hospital, with her children by her side.
She was predeceased by her parents Ted and Kay Vellow; her mother in law Nellie Hawkins; her uncle and aunt Kenneth and Dorothy Langridge; her cousin Elaine Molinski; and our father Brian Hawkins.
Carol will be lovingly remembered by her children Michael Hawkins (Rhiannon), Lisa Lewicki (Dennis), Travis Hawkins (Elvi), Cary Hawkins (Shauna); and her beloved grandchildren Easton, Casin, and Nathan.
She will also be missed by her sister Donna; her cousin Jim (Evelyn); her nieces Suzanne (Mark), Michelle (Dave); her nephew Stephen (Doreen); her great nieces Alyssa and Jennifer; her great nephews Dane and Jason; and her second cousins Ryan (Demi) and Amy.
Living in Charleswood ALL of her life, she made so many close friends over the years. There are way too many to mention, but you know who you are.
A heartfelt thank you to all the staff at the Grace, especially Dr. Nkosi, Resident Dr. (Steve), Nurses, Shannon, Holly, and Lee. Words cannot express our gratitude to you all.
A service will be held on Friday, January 12, 2018 at 11:00 a.m. at the Charleswood United Church, 4820 Roblin Blvd, Winnipeg, Manitoba.
A private interment will be held at a later date with family and close friends.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to The Christmas Cheer Board, where mom enjoyed volunteering or to the Charleswood United Church, where she attended since childhood.

We will miss you mom, more than you will ever know! Michael, Lisa, Travis, Cary, and her cherished cat Niki.
