Carl’s Obituary
It is with heavy hearts that the families of the late Carl William Martin announce his passing at the Western Memorial Regional Hospital, in Corner Brook, NL, on Saturday, December 1st, 2018 at the age of 85 years.
Leaving to mourn with fond and loving memories his wife; Nellie nee Crocker of 47 years marriage, his children; Glenda, Karen (Shane), and Roy (Sheena), his grandchildren; Gregory, Dylan, Austin, Ethan, William, and Stella, his brother; Cecil (Joan), his sisters; Mabel (Hemblah), Una (Larry), and Ina, his sisters-in-law; Jessie (Milton), Florence, Jeanie, and Susan, Carl was predeceased by his parents; Mabel and William Martin, his brother; John (Bud), his sister; Wanda, mother and father-in-law; Flora and Issac Crocker, his brothers and sisters-in-law. Also leaving to mourn a large circle of nieces, nephews, other relatives, extended families and friends.
The family will be receiving family and friends at St. Simon & St. Jude Anglican Church in Trout River, NL, on Tuesday, December 4th, 2018 from the hours of 2-4 & 7-9 pm, and continuing on Wednesday, December 5th, 2018 from the hours of 2-4 & 7-9 pm. Where also the funeral service will take place from on Thursday, December 6th, 2018 at 2:00 pm with Deacon Francis Elgar, officiating with the burial to follow at the family plot of the church cemetery, in Trout River, NL.
In lieu of flowers donations can be made to a charity of one’s choice in Carl’s memory would be gratefully appreciated by the family.
