Bruce Roberts

It is with heavy hearts the family of Bruce Roberts announces his sudden passing at home on September 15, 2018.
Born April 24, 1947 in Arnprior, Ontario, Bruce was the eldest son of Basil Roberts and Margaret (Brandimore) Roberts. Bruce is predeceased by brothers Garry and Clifford, and a favorite aunt Elaine “Bobby” Wurm of White Lake, ON.
Bruce is survived by his wife of almost fifty years Judy (Fawcett) Roberts, son Dale (Cindy) Roberts of Harmony, NS, daughter Christine (Jason) Brown of Woodstock, NB, sister Bernadette Theros of Arnprior, ON, very special aunt Iris Wurm of North Bay, ON, and three grandchildren, Calleigh Brown, Chase and Fable Roberts, and numerous nieces and nephews.
Bruce spent years in the armed forces before falling in love and settling down in New Brunswick. He became a plumbing contractor and worked in Fredericton for over forty years. Bruce created art of all kinds, by painting, drawing using mediums like pastels and stained glass. He enjoyed a good debate (argument), working outdoors around his property, fishing, reading, but especially meeting friends for coffee, and visiting family.

A gathering of family and friends will take place at York Funeral Home on Thursday, September 20, 2018 from 2-4 pm with special words of remembrances at 3 pm. Personal condolences may be offered through www.yorkfh.com
