Obituary Overview
In Loving Memory of Bruce
It is with great sadness that we announce Bruce’s passing surrounded by his loving wife and devoted daughters on Wednesday, December 5th, 2018 at Credit Valley Hospital at the age of 70 years. He is survived by his wife of 41 years Lynn (nee Hurst), daughters Tracy (Gabe Gavrielides) and Kimberly (Mike Tidball), grandchildren Colton and Kenzley. Dear son of Ruby and the late Bruce Stanley. Bruce will be fondly remembered for his love of life and family, his wonderful sense of humour, his passion for golfing, gardening and love for his cars, but mostly for always trying to make people laugh. The family will receive friends for a memorial visitation at Glen Oaks Funeral Home & Cemetery, 3164 Ninth Line (Dundas/403) Oakville on Saturday, December 8, 2018 from 5-8 p.m. A service will be held in the Chapel on Sunday, December 9, 2018 at 11a.m. followed by a reception in the Glen Oaks Lounge. If desired, donations may be made in Bruce’s memory to the Alzheimer Society of Peel.
Please take a moment to sign the online guestbook and to share your memories of Bruce for his family.
Our most sincere sympathies to the family and friends of Bruce Robert Hunter 2018..

Dear Lynn and Family,
Ron and I wish to offer our deepest sympathy for the loss of your gentle, kind and very funny Bruce. With deep respect, we remember the strength, patience and love of his family, especially Lynn, who bore these difficult, last years with such grace and devotion, because “That’s my Bruce”.
