Blaga Tasevski

It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Blaga Tasevski on December 20, 2018. Born September 15, 1927 in Rotince, Macedonia. The youngest of four children to parents Eco and Doca Simjanovski. Blaga spent her childhood on a farm near the river Vardar in the village of Rotince. In June of 1949 Blaga married Jordan Tasevski from the village of Vratnica. Together they had three children Mito, Jagoda and Chirko. In 1965 the whole family immigrated to France. In 1966 they immigrated to Canada where they settled in Windsor, Ontario. Windsor became their life long home where Blaga worked as a pastry chef for most of her working life. Later, Blaga worked at the Maple Leaf Restaurant with her daughter as a prep-cook until she retired. Blaga’s hobbies were knitting, cooking and gardening and she enjoyed focusing on them during her retirement years. Blaga is survived by 9 grandchildren and 16 great grandchildren. Blaga will be missed dearly and will be forever in our hearts. Visitation will be held at WINDSOR CHAPEL (Banwell Chapel) 11677 Tecumseh Rd. East, 519-253-7234 on Sunday December 23, 2018 from 5-9 p.m. Prayers Sunday at 7:30 p.m. Funeral Services Monday December 24, 2018 at 9:30 a.m. from the Funeral Home, then to St. Nicholas Macedonian Orthodox Church for Funeral Service at 10:30 a.m. Interment to follow at Windsor Memorial Gardens Cemetery. In memory of Blaga, memorial donations may be made to The Kidney Foundation or to St. Nicholas Macedonian Orthodox Church. Online condolences may be shared at www.windsorchapel.com
