OBITUARY
Betty Jane Villeneuve
January 12, 1951 – September 3, 2018
Betty Jane Villeneuve – Age 67 of Digby, passed away at Digby General Hospital on September 3, 2018 after a three month battle with cancer.
Born in Digby, she was a daughter of the late David and Bessie (Bigelow) Height. Betty was a personal care worker who was well known and loved by all. She enjoyed bowling, camping, playing darts and Skip-Bo.
Betty is survived by her sons, Kelly (Deedee); LeRoy; grandchildren. Amanda (Matt), Ashley, Travis (Jessie), great-grandson, Lucas; her four sisters, Marie (Conrad) Franklin; Barbara, both of Ontario; Sylvia (Frank) Wilson, B.C.; Marilyn Boudreau (Herbie Boudreau), Digby; brothers, Terry Height, Digby; David Height, Ontario; adopted brothers, Brian and Stephen. Besides her parents, she was predeceased by her husband, Reginald “Reg”; brothers, Charles “Sonny” and Douglas.
The family would like to thank Betty’s special friend, Errol Thompson for his love and kindness to Betty during her illness.
Cremation has taken place under the care of Jayne’s Funeral Home, Digby. A celebration of life service will be at 6pm on Saturday September 8th downstairs at Digby Royal Canadian Legion Branch #20.
