SMITH, Bernice Lambert – Peacefully surrounded by her family, at Peterborough Regional Health Centre on September 21, 2018 in her 95th year. Beloved wife of Barclay E. Smith. Dear mother of Barry (Cheryl) of Newmarket, Bonnie Snider (Bob) of Bloomfield, Brad Smith of Ottawa, Beverly Peart (Mike) of Keene and Bette-Anne Smith (Lyndon) of Belleville. Grandmother of 13 and Great-grandmother of 7. Sister of the late Norma Peterkin. The family would like to extend their deepest gratitude to the Palliative team at PRHC and Dr. Michael Gibson for their tender care. Visitation will be held at the COMSTOCK-KAYE LIFE CELEBRATION CENTRE, 356 Rubidge Street on Tuesday, September 25, 2018 from 7-9 pm. A Memorial Celebration of Life will be held at the FREE METHODIST CHURCH, 450 Lansdowne Street East on Wednesday, September 26, 2018 at 1:00 pm. In memory of Bernice, if so desired, donations to the Canadian National Institute for the Blind, Canadian Cancer Society or charity of your choice would be appreciated by the family.
