Huff, Berneatta (nee Stirling)
A resident of Chatham, Berneatta peacefully passed away at the Chatham-Kent Hospice on Wednesday, July 18, 2018 in her 75th year.
Berneatta was the daughter of the late Bernard & Vern (nee Davis) Stirling.
Beloved wife & best friend of 53 years to Edwin Huff.
Loving, cherished, supportive mother of Brian Huff (Connie) of Windsor, Darlene Brady (Brian) of Merlin, Terry Huff (Eva) of Toronto, Christine Huff (Paul) of Toronto, Stephen Huff (Glenis) of Toronto & Gary Grover (Lauren) of London.
Proud grandmother of eight grandchildren & great-grandma of one with one on the way.
Sister of Diane Martin (Jerome) of Dover, Linda Strling of London, Charlene Hagen (Terry) of Chatham, Marlene Russullo (Mike) of Chatham, Florence Tomlinson (Fred) of St. Catherine’s & Neil Sterling of Wisconsin.
Predeceased by her siblings, Gary Sterling, George Sterling & Ilene Jackson.
Missed by many nieces & nephews.
Born March 31, 1943 and grew up in Dover Township. She enjoyed quality time with her beloved dogs, baking, cross stitch, gardening, family get-together’s, walks with her neighbors & loved her volunteering.
Family to receive friends on Saturday, July 21, 2018 from 10:00 am until the Funeral Service at 12:00 pm at McKinlay Funeral Home 459 St. Clair Street, Chatham. Burial to follow in Maple Leaf Cemetery.
Donations may be made to the Chatham-Kent Hospice Foundation.
