It is with heavy hearts that the family of Bernard Ingram
Ball announces his passing at his home in Titusville on Sunday
December 9, 2018. Born in Cape Breton, NS on December 1,
1934, he was the son of the late Ingram and Berna (Sharples)
Ball.
He will be deeply missed by his daughter Jacqueline
Kilpatrick and her husband Gary of Titusville, NB; son Clarence Ball
and his wife Gisele of Manitoba; brothers: Ernest (Annette) Ball,
William (Paulette) Ball, George (Carolle) Ball and Roland (Nellie)
Ball all of Cape Breton; sisters: Linda (Charlie) Palmer, Brita
MacNeill, Edith MacNeill and Elizabeth Swan all of Cape
Breton; step-daughters: Marlene (Robert) Cormier-Cox of Nova
Scotia, Barbara Ann Himelman of Nova Scotia and Geradine (Dan)
Levesque of New Brunswick; step-sons: Michael Cormier and Rene Cormier
both of New Brunswick; as well as many grandchildren, great
grandchildren, nieces and nephews. Besides his parents, Bernard was
predeceased by his loving wife Elizabeth (Porier) Ball; daughter
Russette MacDonald; step-daughter Betty Ann Hamilton; and step-son
Valmond Cormier.
Arrangements have been entrusted to Reid’s Funeral
Home (506-832-5541), 1063 Main Street, Hampton, NB, where visitation
will be held on Friday, December 14, 2018 from 2 to 4 and 6 – 8pm. The
Funeral Service will be held on Saturday, December 15, 2018 at 11:00am
from Reid’s Funeral Home Chapel. Interment will take place
in the spring at Titus Hill Cemetery.
Donations in memory of Bernard may be made to the Heart
& Stroke Foundation or to the charity of the donor’s
choice. Personal condolences to the family and donations may be made
