Obituary of Barbara Strickland
STRICKLAND, Barbara Joan; Peacefully, Surrounded by the love of her family at the Brantford General Hospital on Wednesday November 21st at the age of 87. Loving mother of Neil (Kim) Strickland of Newmarket, Dave (Debbie) Strickland, and Andrea Strickland, all of Brantford. Cherished grandmother of Mike (Eden), and Ron Edgar (Corrine), and treasured great-grandmother of Branden and Rory. Friends will be received at McCLEISTER FUNERAL HOME, 495 Park Road North, Brantford, on Saturday November 24th from 10:00 – 11:00 a.m. A Funeral Service to celebrate Barbara will be held in the chapel following visitation at 11:00 a.m. Interment Highland Memory Gardens Cemetery, Willowdale, at approximately 2:00 p.m. As expressions of sympathy, donations in memory of Barbara made to the Alzheimers Society of Brant would be gratefully appreciated.
