Barbara Jaymes Bouchard (nee Holley)
Peacefully in Ottawa, with her family by her side, on Thursday, December 13, 2018. Born in Decatur, Illinois, on November 10, 1942, she was the daughter of the late James and Vera Holley. She is survived by her loving husband of 47 years, Réjean Bouchard. Also survived by her dear daughters Tina (Mike Morris) and Anne-Marie (Harold Fudge); her grandchildren William and Christopher Morris and Madeleine and Henry Fudge, and her siblings Steve Holley, Rick (Carol) Holley and Sheryl Holley. She will be fondly remembered by her extended family and many dear friends. After Barbara retired from teaching at Glebe High School, she was able to devote more time to travelling, playing bridge, reading and spending time with her family. The family wishes to thank Carefor Health and Community Services as well as Dr. Faye Goldman for their exceptional care of Barbara during her illness. Family and friends may pay their respects at the Pinecrest Remembrance Centre – 2500 Baseline Rd., Ottawa, on Saturday, December 29, from 9:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. A celebration of Barbara’s life will follow in the chapel at 11:00 a.m. Interment and reception to follow. Memorial donations can be made to the Phoebe Rose Rocks Foundation at phoeberoserocks.com/.
