Obituary for
Barbara Isobel Laprade (Conley)
Barbara passed away due to complications with post-surgery, at 85 years of age. She is survived by her daughter, Leah Laprade and her life partner Janice Mayhew as well as her son, John Laprade and his life partner Wendy Peters. Predeceased by her husband John Laprade. Barbara will be deeply missed by her children and her grandchildren Ryan Hawke, Ford Laprade, Sarah Moreau and Samantha Burrell, as well as by her beloved “Little Friend, Daisy.” Her friends and neighbours will always remember her sharp wit, independence, spunkiness, as well as her kind, caring personality. Special thank you to Robert Hawke for his many years of love, dedication and care with Barb. Family and friends are invited to visit the Kemptville Chapel of Hulse, Playfair & McGarry, 805 Prescott Street, Kemptville, Ontario on Sunday, July 22, 2018 from 2:00 pm to 5:00 pm. A Funeral Service will be held on Monday, July 23rd, 2018 in the Chapel at 3:00 pm. A Celebration BBQ of Barb’s Life will be held at a later date at her daughter’s home. Donations to the House of Lazarus would be appreciated.
