SAINT-CHARLES, NB – Azade Richard 73, of
Saint-Charles passed away peacefully at the Stella Maris Hospital,
Ste-Anne-de-Kent on Friday, December 28, 2018. Born in Kent
Lake, he was the son of the late Julien Richard and late Lodia
(Chevarie) Richard.
Azade will be sadly missed by his loving wife, Delora
(Richard) Richard of Saint-Charles; one daughter, Charline Richard
(Roland) of Moncton; three sons, Delphis Richard (Vickie) of
Salisbury, Roland Richard (Rachel) of Borden, PEI, Martin Richard of
Saint-Charles and four grandchildren, Jessica, Christopher, Kari and
Charle.
He is also survived by five sisters, Rose-Delima Daigle (late
Fidele) of Saint John, Emilie Pellerin (late Danny) of Blacks Harbour,
Cecile Richard of Saint John, Dorina Gates (Edward) of Belleisle
Creek, Angela Stewart (Ralph) of St. Louis; three brothers, Zenon
Richard (Ida) of Richibucto, Andre Richard (Zelande) of Dieppe, Leon
Richard (Sandra) of Kent Lake and many nieces and
nephews.
Besides his parents, he was predeceased by two sisters,
Roseline, Marie-Anne and two brothers, Delphis and
Theophile.
Visitation will be held at Thompson Memorial Home,
Saint-Louis-de-Kent on Sunday from 2-4 & 7-9 pm, Monday at
11:00 am until time of the funeral. A Funeral Mass will be
celebrated on Monday, December 31, 2018 at 1:00 pm, St. Charles
Borromée Roman Catholic Church, Saint-Charles.
Donations in Azade’s memory may be made to the Canadian
Cancer Society, NB Heart & Stroke Foundation or the Stella
Maris Hospital Palliative Care Unit and would be appreciated by the
family. Arrangements are in care of Thompson’s
Funeral Home, Richibucto (523-4252).
