Aurèle Vautour
1930-2018
SAINT-LOUIS-DE-KENT, NB Aurèle Vautour 87, of
Saint-Louis-de-Kent passed away peacefully at the Villa Maria,
Saint-Louis-de-Kent on Monday, August 13, 2018. Born in St.
Ignace, he was the son of the late Arthur Vautour and late Marie
(Barrieau) Vautour. Before retiring, Aurèle was
employed as a well driller.
Aurèle will be sadly missed by his three
daughters, Anise Vautour (Guy Belley) of Laval, QC, Annette LeBlanc
(Raymond) of Aldouane, Odette Johnson (John) of St. Louis; four
grandchildren, Mélanie, Mathieu, Maxime and
Alexandre.
He is also survived by three sisters, Gemma LeBlanc (Abel),
Zita Thebeau (late Hypolite); Gilberte Cormier (late Armand); five
brothers, Louis Vautour (Emilienne), Albert Vautour
(Céline), Robert Vautour (Géraldine),
Gérard Vautour (Géraldine) and many nieces and
nephews.
Besides his parents, he was predeceased by his wife,
Jeannette (Vautour) Vautour; one sister, Irène and three
brothers, Yvon, Pierre and Jacques.
Visitation will be held at Thompson Memorial Home,
Saint-Louis-de-Kent on Friday 2-4 & 7-9 pm, Saturday at 9:00
am until time of the funeral. A Funeral Mass will be
celebrated on Saturday, August 18, 2018 at 11:00 am at the St. Louis
des Français Roman Catholic Church,
Saint-Louis-de-Kent. Donations in
Aurèle’s memory may be made to the Alzheimer
Society or NB Heart & Stroke Foundation.
