Angevine, Audrey Jane, Feb 4 1928 –
Sept 22, 2018, passed away quietly
surrounded by loved ones at Campbell House Hospice, Collingwood
Ontario. She left this world at 90 years young and still not enough
time for those who loved her. Born in Hansford, Cumberland Co.
Daughter of the late Frank and Millie Mayne. She grew up in
Westchester NS, and moved to Ontario in the late 40s. Audrey
was full of love for her family and friends and faithfully stayed in
touch with everyone. Audrey had a passion for retail and
worked most of her career for Marks and Spencer’s. In recent
years she volunteered 3 days a week at her church right up to her last
week. Audrey married the love of her life the late Elmer Angevine. She
was predeceased by her husband, Elmer; daughter,
Gail; sister, Jean and her partner Merle Woodcock. She is
survived by her daughter, Jeanne (John) Boertjes; sons, Robert
(Debbie) and Richard (Shelly); 14 grandchildren, 10 great
grandchildren, her great great- granddaughter Norah, and
brother-in-law Wyman Betts. Funeral took place Oct 1st in Bradford
Ontario at Trinity Anglican Church. Graveside service will be held
Sunday, October 14th at 2pm at Wentworth Cemetery. Reception to follow
at the home of Rene Boertjes Wall. Private messages of condolence can
