Obituary of Ashly Neil
Ashly Marie Neil
Age 23
Glace Bay
It is with heavy hearts and great sadness that we announce the passing of our beautiful daughter, sister, granddaughter and friend. Ashly passed away on Tuesday, May 15, 2018 at the Cape Breton Regional Hospital. She is at peace now. We will miss her forever and a day.
Born in Glace Bay, Ashly was the daughter of John and Sandra (Bennett) Neil. Ashly loved being outdoors, fishing, off road with ATV’s, but most of all, she adored her two daughters. She very much enjoyed spending quality time with them and loved them dearly. Ashly was an amazing woman, always willing to lend a helping hand and a listening ear to anyone in need.
Ashly will be eternally loved and missed by her parents, John and Sandra (Bennett), cherished daughters, Jayden Neil (6), Casey Neil (2), sisters, Samantha Neil (Liam), Brianna Neil, paternal grandmother, Sheila Neil, and companion, Daniel McInnis.
Ashly is predeceased by her maternal grandparents, Benny and Sharon Bennett and paternal grandfather, Richard Neil.
Ashly’s family would like to thank all family, friends, and co-workers for their support at this difficult time, also; doctors, nurses at the Regional Hospital and paramedics for their compassion and care.
Ashly’s family are requesting a visitation for immediate family and close friends only on Saturday, May 19th commencing at 2 p.m. to 4 p.m. at J.M. Curry Funeral Home, 775 Main Street, Glace Bay (849-7617). Donations in Ashly’s memory may be made to a charity of choice.
